Johnny's Sweet and Spicy Sauce
Ingredients:

1 (32 oz.) can low-sodium V8 vegetable juice
1 cup water
1/4 cup all-natural red currant jelly
1/4 cup arrowroot mixed with 1/2 cup water
1 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. ground sage


Preparation:


In a medium pot, mix vegetable juice, water and jelly. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in the arrowroot mixture. Cook, stirring constantly over medium heat until thickened and clear. Stir in cumin and sage. Serve hot. Makes about 5 cups
