Preparation:
Place eggs and sugar in bowl and beat well 10 minutes. Add flour slowly, blending gently and thoroughly. Add anise seeds. Butter and flour a loaf pan (9"x 5"x 3"), pour in batter and bake in preheated oven 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Remove from pan (leave oven on), cut loaf into 1" slices and place slices on buttered baking sheet. Return to oven. Brown slices on both sides for about 5 minutes on each side. Makes about 20 biscuits.
